I spent quite a bit of time today converting the shop over from spar work to steel work. But I did get time to start understanding the sizes and process that is going to be needed to make the drive mechanism's. Looking forward to getting started on this part for a change off the spars. I did a quick inventory of the wing steel kit from Wicks and discovered that it is not everything you need like they say it is. You still have to have to 6 foot sections of 3/4x.049 tubing for the torque tubes that operate the flaps. I may be able to source my 4130 locally as it is more readily available than the aircraft aluminum.
