Started trying out the new band saw today. My old band saw was a high speed wood saw so I had to purchase a harbor freight elcheapo for my project. Did not spend much time using it as we spent the first part of the night putting the bandsaw together. We did go ahead and started cutting out the first of the attach fittings. I let Zachary cut it out and he was not paying good attention and cut into the part so we made 1 scrapped attach fitting tonight. He is learning though and that is what it is all about. He likes the harbor freight saw because it is low to the ground at his height.
