Brief Description:  Spar cutting and bending

Cut the .032 4x8 sheet of 2024-T3 aluminum into 4 strips 10.5"x8' strips. Used a table saw with 180t blade to rip these sheets. Debured the sheets on the scotchbrite wheel. Cut one of the sheets just a small amount shorter to remove the area that I 1st tried with the jig saw. I did not like the scratches the jig saw made. Was able to bend two of the front spars today. When bending the 3rd front spar my wood that I had mounted the brake to snapped. This was sorta expected as the wood I was using was really only meant to be temporary as I had it laying around. I had to mount it to the table as the table top did not have a lip I could mount it to. I screwed this piece on to start the construction of the brake and decided just to bend with it until it broke. I decided after it broke to just start building my next 4'x8' work table. Not as productive as I had hoped but I am getting there. It takes time to start a new process.
