Where to begin? In the spring of 2016 my wife and I attended Sun N Fun, and as we were driving home Sunday evening after the event she said to me "how come you haven't built me an airplane?" Wow! I had been dreaming of that very thing for years, and had spent countless hours following the excellent websites of folks like Dan Checkoway and Tim Olson. It was time to start doing this for real!
2 months later we acquired a "new to us" house with a detached two car garage. Apparently she is serious, she has promised to keep all of her things out of what is now my airplane factory.
Of course, its a little rough. One bare light bulb and two outlets, plus 30 years of oil and grease on the floor. This is going to take some work!
