Brief Description: Finished the Vertical Stabilizer
I thought I'd go crazy with nut plates. The pneumatic squeezer is a life saver. I was a little disappointed with the "dimpling" caused by trying to get the LP4-3 blind rivets into the skin surfaces. From now on, I match drill all holes - it just makes for a much easier assembly, removes very little material and takes actually less time than messing around with trying to wiggle the rivets in. The key is to ensure the holes are lines up properly, which is where clecos come in anyway...
