It was a good first day. I built the first part, upper and lower hinges for the rudder, today. I let Nina make the first rivet squeeze and she was excited. Lesson's learned today are that I need a ΒΌ" mandrel for cutting wheels. I also need multiple whip lines so that can I can have a drill, squeezer and cleco guns all loaded. Also, I bought a cleco gun. Kinda gimicky, but sounds cool. Also, I'm a little bummed I didn't clean up the edges of each piece before riveting. It's a solid rivet job and will hold forever, but it would have been just a tad cleaner if I'd deburred and smooth the edge each part. I will do this going forward.
