Using the louvers as a 'drill guide' the holes for positioning (rivets) were drilled and the louvers clecoed to the cowl. Then the 'guide' method is used to drill the 'end' holes for the slots to be cut. Finally, used the oscillating cutting tool to cut the slots on the hole tangents and then sanded to edges to finalize the slots.
Finally a coat of clear resin was bushed on and later sanded to a smooth surface for the louver installation.
