The ribs and bulkheads for the strake were layed out on two sheets of H45 PVC. The sheets were joined together and covered with 1 ply BID. I got this idea from the Cozy Girlls. This process has saved a lot of wasted material and time compared to cutting out each individual piece and covering it individually. For the entire strake I will be using E-Z Poxy 10A with 87 B Slow hardner. This is based on recommendations from many who have successfullty used this system without any fuel attack problems. There are two key steps with this system that must be done correctly. First the mixture ratio must be exact. I use a scale so I have no issue with this. Second, it must be postcured. This will take place after the strake is completed.
