The canard cover has been modified from plans to allow the cover to be removed without removing the canard. This was changed due to better match the FHC seam which is about 2.5" aft of F28. The plans method would have required two seams to allow the canard to be manuevered off. Today, I carved blue styrofoam that had been left over from the wings and set up a foam shape mold in place on the canard and in the fuselage. I could not get the foam to cover all of the shape so I used pour foam to fill in the rest. The fuselage, canard, and canopy was set up with duct tape to provide release for the layup.
