I rough sanded the foam close to shape. I then sanded a groove near the canopy, exposing at least 1/2" of the UNI covering the base of the canopy. I then used flox at the canopy and foam connection below the top of the foam only. I used Micro between the blocks sparingly to connect them before final shaping.
