Step 11 is anlogous to step 9 in Uli Wolter's plans. Both were used to finish this step.
I cleaned up the joint with the turtleback, removed the wood holding bars and layed up a layer of UNI all around the bottom of the canopy lapping a little more than 2" onto the turtleback.
