Brief Description: Installation of Pitch and Roll Assembly
The aileron torque tube on both sides had some tubes that had not been alodined. Since they were all removed for the painting process, I took this opportunity to alodine them.
In addition, I noticed that several of the connecting bolts had excessive threads showing past the nut (~6). I was concerned that the nut may be bottoming out on the bolt shank, so I reduced the size from an AN3-11A to an AN3-10A on most of them. The only one that did not get reduced was the one connected the arm for the aileron trim.
I have physically placed them in the plane. I will work tomorrow to install the aileron trim cables before finishing the installation.
