Brief Description: Cutting the Foam Cores and Bonding to Torque Tube
08/10/2007 I cut out the foam core templates 08/11/2007 I restrung the hot wire. I alos started prepping the torque tubes. On one side I riveted the NC-2 into place and sealed it with IsoCyan glue. 08/12/2007 I finished the other torque tube by riveting NC-2 in place and sealing with IsoCyan glue. I cut out the notch for the hinge. I hotwired all the elevator foam cores with Kenneth's help. 08/20/2007 I fit the elevator cores to the torque tubes. I sanded them down a little to allow a snug but easier fit. I took a tent pole and epoxied sanding paper to it. This worked very good. I micro'd the torque tubes in place using NC-7 jigs to set the correct angle or rotation of the torque tubes.
