The peel ply was removed and the cross member and the bondo was removed. During the removal of the bondo, I must have gotten more aggressive than I thought. Some of the underlying BID from the original wing tip reinforcement was sanded away. A very small diameter (~3/8" to 1/2" diameter) section of the UND under the BID was exposed.
