The front of the cowl that covers the cylinders do not fit due to the widening of the turtleback. Cutting darts into the nacelle was not allowing the proper movement that would line the nacelle up with the cosmetic piece at the spar/firewall corner; therefore, the front section of the nacelles were cut out. To provide a form for the new nacelle, paper machete was used to form a close shape for the new nacelle. When it dries, spackling will be used to finish out the shape. The right nacelle paper machete was completed. Strips of 3/8" PVC foam was used to support the paper machete.
