Brief Description:  Routing and Rigging the Rudder Cables

The left rudder was rigged up using the compression spring between the rudder pedal connection and the Instrument Panel. A connector with a removable pin is used to connecte the cable from the pulleies to the cable as it enters the wing.

The right rudder has a problem. The conduit had some pluggage or had been squeezed. Probably when the arm rest was installed. A new conduit was run through the electrical conduit. It was securred at both ends. It has been rigged in a similar fashion as the left.

There are still some rigging issues on both sides. Neither one will reach the full 4 to 4.5" before contacting the break actuator. It has been recommended by many on the Cozy Mailing list to make sure that there is a 2.5:1 lever on the brake actuator. It does not currently have that even at the most extreme location. This must be corrected before this step is completed.
