Brief Description: Installation of Pitch and Roll Assembly
The plans roll trim system is not being installed. In its place the Davenport fiberglass spring and Ray Allen Servo is installed on the connecting torque tube on the fire wall. The servo is connected to the Dynon Auto Pilot, which manages the hat switch inputs from the pilot and copilot sticks.
Some tuning on this arrangment will likely be necessary. It seems to be very weak. It may need more travel than the ray allen servo can provide. It has been calibrated in the Dynon system.
In addition, the roll auto pilot servo was installed. It connects to the aileron bell crank on the left. It has been connected to the auto pilot system, but has not been tested.
