The elevators have been filled, epoxy wiped, primed and sealed. The top coat is being left for after flight testing. The assembly shown in the picture, includes the inboard assembly with the inboard weight, the outboard weight (integral to elevator), and the hinge pin. The attach bolt for the inboard assembly to the elevator is also included. The attach bolt from the inboard assembly to the connecting torque rod is not included.
The balance is shown in the pictures. They passed with the leading edge undoubtably lower than the trailing edge. The total weight of each one was 3.78 and 3.8 lbs. There was about 0.5 oz difference between the two elevators.
