To fix the hinge alignment, I tried several different methods. I tried using washers to move the hinge along the bolt. This did not help. I tried to sand the hing pad since it appeared that the hinge may not be sitting flush. This helped some, but not enough.
Finally, I tried to drill the bolt hole to allow the bolt to move toward the front of the winglet. This did the trick.
The rudder cable end was made up using the AN100-3C thimble. The cable is SS, so the thimble is SS and the cable crimps are zinc coated copper. The clevis pin AN393-7 is too short, so I had to order a new AN393-9 pin.
