1. A distance of 1 1/4" was marked from the aft edge of FF-1202 by using masking tape. It was later threaded to FF-1201 and a mark was made on both 1202 and 1201.
2-3. A #36 drill bit was passed through the top hole on FF-1201 until it contacted F-01202. Five NAS1149F0332P washers were placed on top of FF-1201 until the grooves on the bit were covered. A chuck was used to grip onto the drill bit, one washer was removed and the drill bit was used to make a dimple on top of FF-1202.
An MS51957-36 screw was modified according to the manual using a belt grinder.
FF-1201 was tapped using the modified screw.
4. FF-1201 was mounted onto the aft part of the crankshaft and the cap screws were safety wired together. The pitot tube was installed.
It was observed that the pitot tube presented a significant deviation to the right side so the safety wire was removed and FF-1201 uninstalled in order to shim it until the pitot tube is relatively straight to the fuselage center line.

5,6 Rework on FF-1201 was continued. One F0432P washer was sanded until .1mm were removed, then it was added to the left hole underside of FF-1201.
