01/10/20: 14Hrs
1. Tape was used as reference to identify the ends of the hinges.
2. The bottom cowl was placed on fuselage and supported with a jack.
3. The bottom cowl was clamped to the spinner plate spacers and it was taped to the fuselage
5. The three holes at each side of the spinner cutout were drilled #40 into the upper and bottom cowls.
6.The bottom cowl was trimmed using the F-1270 corner skins 3/4 from the aft edge of the previously installed tape on the fuselage.
7. The cowl was installed on the fuselage again to check if it fit as it should, details were fixed accordingly.
8.The bottom cowl was trimmed using the F-1271 side skins 3/4 from the aft edge of the previously installed tape on the fuselage.

01/13/20: 10Hrs
9. The edge of the top cowl was traced onto the bottom cowl to trim.
10. The bottom cowl was trimmed untl flush with the top cowl.
11. Both cowls were clecoed using the 6 holes that were drilled in step 5 to verify alignment between both parts, adjustments were made accordingly.
12,13 . Both the F-12116 and F-12117 rivet locations were marked at 9/16" from the forward edge of the fuselage skin with a rivet separation of 7/8".

01/14/20: 4Hrs
14.The bottom cowl was removed and the rivet locations marked on the previous two steps were drilled #40.
15.The cowl was placed back onto the fuselage, clecoed to the top cowl and secured with tape.
16. The top cowl was removed from the fuselage.
