01/02/20: 4.5Hrs 1. The lines marked around the perimeter of the S-1201 were copied onto inside, putting it in the sun to have seen the shadow of the lines marked. The lower portion of the S-1201 was trimmed to the scribe line.
2. The cutout areas in the sides of the S-1201 were removed, first the straight edges were carefully trimmed with hacksaw up to the curved portion. The curved portion was drilled from the center with 3,4 Step Drill (saving the lower portion of each cutout) and subsequently the excess was removed with a mototool up to 1/16 on the trim line.
5,6 Cutout areas were finished with P220 sandpaper up to the trim line.
01/22/20: 2.33Hrs 7. Spinner plates, hub and and propeller blades were attached to the aircraft. 8. The cutouts on the spinner had to be trimmed a bit to fit the propeller blades. 9. Magnets were taped to the pilot holes on the spinner plate. 10. The spinner was placed in position and clamped to the plates.
