02/12/19: 5.35Hrs 1. Both C-1216 gas struts were final drilled 17/64 on the forward side and 3/8 on the aft side. 2. The canopy frame was countersunk #12 in 2 locations to fit an AN509-10R13 screw. 3.Five holes were match-drilled on each side of the canopy frame and then LP-3 rivets were installed.
02/13/19: 4.6Hrs The center of the bow was filed to create a smooth transition between the welded parts. The canopy frame arms were beveled. The C-1216-1 gas struts were attached to the frame. Measurements on the manual were followed to use C-01215-1 to match-drill the canopy frame, C-01215-1 was then riveted to it.
