Steps 1 through 4 of page 17-04 (Right Wing) were completed today. For step 1 we actually had to remove 9 rivets that shouldn’t have been riveted yet on the upper inboard skin, removing the rivets allowed us to insert the mid upper skin in between the ribs. There is a gap between the doubler and the upper skin which is odd because last time it set flushed, we’ve contacted Van’s about it and we’re waiting for a response. We also covered the “tie-up” hole as we did with the left wing.
