Van's answered and said that we could flatten the part (mentioned in yesterday'92s log) and flute again, we did that and with this we continued with step 5 (18-06). The only problem that we found on this step was some rivets that had a bit of a gap on the forward side of the flaperon since that part is rounded, we had to remove 3 rivets and placed them again, make sure to remove the rivet stem that may be left inside the flaperon. For step 6 (18-06) notice that figure 2 does tell you how much you have to screw the rod-end beearings, 11/32 from surface to center, to measure this we did some calculations and used a vernier. With the right flaperon completed we proceeded with the left one and did all steps of page 18-04 except the ones that require the
A-1201C skin (which is the one that we previously damaged)
Again with the same method of bucking (see log from 4/24) we started step 1 (18-05) but we couldn't complete it because we had to re-prime the pivot brackets.
