Today we continued working on the first part of the second project. We learned that is not recommended to drill guide holes because we drilled a whole row of #40 holes when we needed #30. We also made a mistake today because we were not familiar with the process, we dimpled the angle that has a thickness of about 3mm. Section 5 of the manual clearly states that material of this thickness should not be dimpled, but countersunk.
We almost completed the first row of rivets by using the rivet gun and bucking bar, as it was instructed, except for the middle two rivets that are blind rivets. The only rivets that are missing are the flat head ones that go on the sides of the aluminum sheet.
