We started working on the second part of the second training project, it consists on assembling a part that resembles an aileron of the plane we’re working on. The first 30 minutes of the day were used to completely read the manual to know what to expect and minimize errors. We completed the first two steps but we also cut the AA6-063X3/43/4X6 into four 1 1/2" parts. The stiffeners needed to be properly cut before we started working. Once we finished preparing the stiffeners, we placed them on top of each skin and match-drilled with a #40 bit and deburred. Tomorrow we’ll start dimpling the parts.
