After developing Solid Riveting skills by practice, practice, practice I went to work on my center spare. Except for a few "Smiley Faces" I finished the spar for the second time.
My first attempt resulted in an oops. I trimmed the upper and lower spar doublers in order to fit the upright fuselage doublers. I was concerned that I trimmed too close to the outboard spar to wing attachment bolts. After calling Zenith tech support my suspicions where confirmed. I was told that I should have trimmed the upright fuselage doublers instead. I ordered the parts in question and started over. Yes, I had to disassemble the spar again and began the second upgrade process.
