Checked layout of front canopy cap strips and cut from 32" X 7" 2024T3 from Wicks sheet. Should have used 8" wide, just made it around the curve. Located front canopy edge overhang per plans at 3/32". Sanded with belt sander to 3/32". Dressed with orbital sander, files and by hand with 600 grit sandpaper. Need strap duplicator to locate holes in front cap strips. Must do before opening up holes to 5/32" per plans.
