Brief Description: Conversion coatings on VS Substructure
Applied the Sanchem conversion coating to the VS substructure today. Got a nice even color change. It seems that keeping everything really clean is the key. I'm doing the prep work on a plastic trash bag taped to a piece of cardboard layed on the floor. Also found that the Black and Decker "Mouse" power sander works well to do the initial scrubbing with the Part "C" cleaner fluid. I just cut 3M medium pads into strips, and attach to the mouse directly with the velcro hook material on the bottom of the mouse.
