Brief Description:  Workshop Setup

I've given up waiting on completion of our hangar at the Henderson airport, so I converted our two car garage so I can get started on the RV 7A. Though I'll have to move the car out to do any serious work, this may turn out for the best, at least to get started. At least this way, I can hit it a lick or two when I have some available time. I built an oversized EAA worktable (30" by 72") with an extra leg under the back riveting plate and two layers of "expendable" masonite top for drilling into. I also extended the existing workbench to accomodate the C-frame dimpler. I have yet to decide where I'll put completed components for safekeeping. The five two bulb shop lights work well, with just a few shadows. I may install an extra light or two to take care of that. I'm still concerned about the noise my oilless air compressor makes. Don't want to alienate the neighbors! I'm hoping that with my Makita 1/4" electric drill and the extensive time it takes to do the prep work, we won't have to spend much time listening to the air compressor run.
