Bend and fit and trim and fit and ... the left step. Lots of iterations and trial fits later, I layed out the rivet pattern according to plans and drilled it into the step. Then more measurement and leveling and it was time to match drill the side skin. Last step was to drill the inboard mounting bushing to the rib and step using the plastic bushing as a guide. All turned out nice and straight. Drilling the holes in the rib and step for the inner support bushingrequired the angle drill. Sure glad I bought that one, now that I'm working on the fuselage. Didn't need it much for the empenage.
