Brief Description: Bent Left Elevator TE and made Mini Ribs
I bent the trailing edge of the left elevator per plans. No new insights, except to take it slowly and reassemble ofted to ge the best fit. I also made the form blocks for the mini rib to replace the fold-over tabe Van's supplied. They may be as strong, but I hate to see the crack invitation requested by bending over the skin directly.Made the Elevator mini rib and re-made the trim tab tip mini rib based on how it all fit together. At this point I have the minimuim 3/32" gap between the end of the trim tabb and the ,oniorib on the elevator. Call my if you have any quesitons about making the mini ribs...Terry
