Brief Description:  Aileron Trailing Edge Assembly

Left and right aileron trailing edge laid flat on floor to facilitate proper drilling of rivet holes. Aileron compression struts assembled and numbered, with each end being punched to crimp in end caps. Trailing edge attached to leading edge awaiting covering attachment. Both left and right side aileron assemblies completed - ordered Fabric Glide to facilitate aileron covering attachment. Created a clamp and pully system with rope to pull the aileron covering from outboard end inward every 6 inches avoiding compression struts. During covering attachment it was noted that the rotation of the velcro needed to be on the top of each leading edge. Both aileron covers were completed, zipped and the zippers were wire tied for safety. Aileron eye bolts where then attached. Aileron control horns were attached and excess was cut off and deburred. Aileron assembly end caps were installed, hole drilled and rivetted on.
