Brief Description: Front gear, panel and piano hinge
I still need to get the nut tight on the main forwad gear and then drill the cotter key hole. Installed the nut plates on the wheel pants fairing, and more piano hinge on the firewall sides and bottom. Also, drilled a number of 3 1/8 and 2 1/4 inch holes in firewall for the instruments. I will put a picture of that photo in the next post. It's now on the gear for good. I sure hope I don't need to remove it. I will build side ramps in work inside the fuselage if I have to. Ordered my firewall forward kit from Van's, so I will be hanging the engine soon. The engine is an 0320 E2A Lycoming. This engine will produce 140 hp at 2450 rpm and 150 hp at 2700 rpm. I'm sure it will be use more at the lower rpm's to keep my fuel cost down. Still looking for a prop.
