Brief Description:  pushrods and HS work

Still trying to do a good job on the fiberglass tips HS, this is a work in progress. I have done a lot of sanding and starting over on each and then more reseach and sanding and start over again. I think now I may have it and we will see as I start over by placing a poly foam stop on the inside of the tip with plastic wrap around it and then build up the outside edge of the tip and then add layers of fiberglass to the inside by placing three layer over the poly foam and lastly removing to foam.

I had one end of my aileron push rods wielded by Scott Frankie who does wielding here at Breezy Point. He ground a small grove between the male bearing end and the tube and then wielded it closed and file it all smooth, he said it will hold for ever. He did a nice job. I will need to prime the ends and then give them a coat of white paint. That way they can easily be inspected over the years or at anytime you look between the flaps and the aileron. The bell crank end of each push rod are riveted together.
