Brief Description:  Rudder fiberglass tip work

Fiberglass tip work and match drilling for that nice fit. I'm trying to figure how much fiberglass should and can be removed from the bottom tip, I have been checking on other websites and feel I need to remove more to get the fit right, I also have an email into Van's with this very same question. I think the top tib looks good and the bottom will come together with a little more cutting and fitting. I also cleaned up the rudder and the VS removing all the blue plastic and have it ready for primer.

I had an inspector in the other day, John Roscoe, he has certified many experimental aircraft over the years and it was great to get his a okay. John and his wife Sandy owned Safe Air Repair prior to selling the Aviation portion of the business a few years ago to Wag Arero. He said he doesn't issue certifications anymore but he can help me and as you know, I need all the help I can get! Thanks John.
