Another major hurdle here to leap...Very disappointed with the fit of the roll bar..!! Not only am I having the typical problem with the width dimension ( 3/8 too narrow), which I cured with the come along, the tractor, and a beam....but the mounting plate that is welded to the tube had zero angle built into it. The longerons form somewhere around a 7 degree angle here so.... do the math...Not a happy camper...guess there is no fixture used during manufacture, and we all know how weldments move around without a jig....and most times...some stress relieving is necessary while in the jig.... As you can see in the pics, had to get the .032 cutter wheel out and slice the gusset from the 1 1/4 tube. See the resultant gap afterward. Next, cutter wheel to the lower weld in prep for major re-alignment.
