I want to thank Buck Wyndham for his inspiration as far as the side consoles are concerned. I borrowed his idea and expanded rearward with it to incorporate armrests for both sides as well. I plan on making the armrest lift open on some sort of hinge and using the space in the side wall for map/misc. storage. This mod also provides ample space for circuit breakers (RH console) and a switch panel (both sides). I sat in the airplane for the first time with the console mock-ups and the armrests are going to be a welcome feature.
