Fitted all hardware for proper clearances. I polished the inside of the tube where the brass bushing rides with some 120 sandpaper wrapped around a rod and an air drill. There was some weld penetration present and the brass likes a nice smooth surface to bear against. Lube this assy well to protect against galling.
