I did not like the idea of the rudder banging around against aluminum stops so I fabricated the stops from nylon sheet. I machined a step in the nylon stop to rest on the edge of the aluminum angle and attached with two #8 screws. This also afforded a broader surface area for the stops to touch the rudder horns.
