Well I slepton it last night and my brain started reverting back to when I worked in the Repair Design Office for Beech. I had classes with a few of our structures guys so I asked one of them about this. He said that it might be ok but he wanted to know what type of aluminum HS405 was and for the life of me I couldn't remember. I'll talk to him tomorrow about it. I went ahead and emailed Van's with this same topic so we'll see what kind of response I get from both. I have perfect spacing on the HS-810-1 its just a matter if there's enough metal left for it to bit and hold onto. Worse comes to worse I'll just order a new part. That has put the left horizontal stab on hold so I went and started on the right side. Its going alot smoother already having found some techniques on the left side.
