I am back after a work trip. Finished drilling the main spar caps. I placed the whole spar up on 2x6's for small drill press clearance. This method worked well on the left side. I had some bad luck with this side...I was off by !/8 and now have to trim 1/4 off of the 118" top front capstrip. I will crear this with bob of coarse. It is nice to be done with the main cap strips. I will finish up drilling the last of the 3 3/4" holes tonight. I plan to jig up the vertical spacers and drill them next.
