Brief Description: Final assembly, match drilling elevator
As with the other elevator, assembled the trailing edge and trimmed to match the skins. Match-drilled the close-out tabs to each other and the shear clip. Added the elevator horn and match-drilled the holes to #30. Match-drilled all remaining skin holes (except leading edge and outboard counterweight holes) to #40. Located and drilled 4 #30 holes in the two Trim Cable Anchor Brackets. Then located the brackets onto the cover plates (making sure to have a left and right side) and drilled them into position. Set the cover plates aside for final fitting after the elevator is riveted. The elevators are now ready to be disassembled, deburred, dimpled, primed where necessary, and then riveted.
