Deburred the HS-1002 front spar. Clamped the cap strips into the spar as directed and match-drilled to the web. Removed and deburred, then reinstalled, re-clamped, and drilled the strips to the spar flange. Added the front spar doubler and match-drilled the holes for the brackets before installing the brackets - OOPS!! The doubler was upside down (top on bottom) or I would not have needed to match-drill. The reverse side (Image 3) shows the spar web and upper capstrip and the extra holes due to my oops. This is not acceptable, so a new HS-1002 and HS-1013 are on order from Vans at about $60 plus shipping. The lower cap strip, spar doubler, and brackets should be unaffected.
