Riveted all the nutplates into place. Then reassembled the empennage except left trim tabs unconnected and rudder off. Fitted the fairing in place with #40 clecos. Then removed every other cleco and drilled #27 into opening of nutplate. Next used a #40 piloted countersink to countersink for the #6 screws (it centers in the nutplate nicely). After attaching the fairing with screws in the holes just countersunk, the remaining clecos were removed and the process repeated for the remaining holes.
