Brief Description:  More fairing work

With the flox cured, I spent a good part of the morning cleaning up the ends of the trim tab and rudder cutout, plus the fairing around the horizontal and vertical stab. I even attacked the nose job and smoothed it out, though a bit of additional filling is required. Next was the work to attach the fairing to the empennage. That required the empennage to be disassembled, at least as far as I could (the VOR antenna cable runs right between the HS spars and up the VS). With access, I drilled out the attachment holes. The holes in the longeron were tapped for 6-32, while the ones in the HS and VS were drilled using a K1000-6 as a template and the rivet holes countersunk. The bottom gap fairings were drilled and dimpled. The fairing will not be drilled or countersunk until the nutplates are in place to use as a guide as a couple of the initial holes are slightly elongated.
