Brief Description: Fabricate and pre-assemble elevator trim tabs
Cut the clamping blocks, saving the removed wedges to use as forming blocks. Glued the templates to the foam blocks and set aside to dry. Marked and masked the location of the foam ribs inside the trim tab skins, then scuffed the bonding area with 150 grit and cleaned the skins. Completed the trailing edge bend and then used the forming block and clamp to bend the ends down. With the spars clecoed in place, drilled the end tabs, then disassembled and dimpled the holes, except for the top of the spars which were countersunk. Modified and dimpled the control arm parts. Completed the 15 degree bend on both bottom skins. Backriveted the spar and control arm parts to the bottom of the skins.
