Brief Description: Left tank vent line, level sender, end rib
I dabbed Proseal over the rivets on the J-stringer and bearing rib, then installed the snap bushings for the vent line. I fabricated the vent line, installed a B-nut and sleeve, and flared one end before installing it into the tank. I then Prosealed the end rib into place and squeezed the rivets before running a fillet of Proseal around the seam. Next I tightened the B-nut on the bulkhead fitting and bent the vent line to clear the fuel level sender. I had previously bent the sender float wire per the plans and so I installed the sender and checked for full motion. You can see in the picture that the float is angled slightly; I tweaked the bends until the float was level with the top/bottom skin and cleared the stiffeners.
