Brief Description:  Miscellaneous tasks

I did a few unrelated tasks. I started out the day cleaning the opening on the right RV-6A fuel tank and pro-sealing in a fitting that I had forgotten before, so I used a bit of the left over sealant to fill a hole in the firewall recess that was drilled in fitting the forward structure. ThenI riveted in the right side mid deck. With that I was able to replace the conduits for wiring in the cabin sides - though I was not able to finish the floor penetration on the left side in front of the baggage door. Next, I decided to fit the seat rails that fit over the gear towers. It took a bit of trial and error since the callouts don't seem to be in the instructions, but I found that AN3-4A bolts worked well with one or two washers. You may have noticed the red item sitting on the bolt in the third picture; it's a strong whiteboard magnet. It's used to keep the washer in place while I stick the nut in place. This has been the hardest to reach place in the RV-10, but after a lot of contortion I managed to get the nuts threaded and then torqued them in place.

Rivet count: 44 Total: 14414 - Plus 549 done at Van's
